Upwell Coffee Online Subscriptions FAQs

  1. What is an Upwell Coffee Subscription and what are the benefits?

Our subscription option is tailored to delivering you the coffee you want, when you want it. All Upwell Coffee subscription orders are roasted-to-order for the freshest cup, and provide the ultimate flexibility to pause or cancel your order. This option is great for the frequent coffee drinker who knows what they want, and when they will need it. Never run out of your favorite roast and get free shipping on orders $59+.

Simply select the "Subscribe" option on the item product page and set up your subscription. Our options include:

2 bags/month: $28.00 + $6.50 shipping

3 bags/month: $42.00 + $6.50 shipping

4 bags/month: $56.00 + free shipping

  1. How long will my subscription last?

Subscriptions have no set end date and will ship at the frequency and interval you selected until you cancel the subscription. You always have the ability to pause, skip, or cancel your order at any time just contact us.

  1. How do I adjust my subscription order frequency? Can I choose a different frequency than the ones available?

Our subscription service allows you to control the amount of time between shipments in 2, 3, or 4 bags-of-coffee-per-month increments.  

To adjust the frequency, follow the steps below:

  • Log in to your Upwell Coffee account
  • From your account dashboard, click the 'Manage' button next to your active subscription
  • Click the 'Edit' button next to your frequency
  • Select the frequency and amount that you would like from the drop-down menu
  • Click 'Update' to save your choice

We do not offer frequencies outside of the monthly option. A subscription order will remain active until you pause or cancel it. 

 

  1. How do I cancel, pause, or put my subscription on hold?

If you would no longer like to receive shipments from Upwell Coffee, please follow the instructions below to pause or cancel your subscription. Note that an active subscription can be paused for up to 3 months.

  • From your 'Dashboard' click the 'Pause/Cancel Subscription' button.
  • Select the amount of time you would like to pause your subscription for or click 'Cancel This Subscription'
  • If you are canceling, please select the reason you are canceling (this will help us understand how we can do better in the future)
  • Confirm and save your choice by clicking the 'Pause' or 'Cancel This Subscription' button.

Note: If you would prefer to skip just one upcoming shipment, click the 'Just skip my next shipment' link.

 

What changes can I make to my standard subscription?

You can make the following changes to your Subscription:

  • Billing information
  • Payment type (credit card)
  • Shipping address
  • Shipping method (i.e. ground delivery vs. 2-Day Air)
  • Items to ship
  • Quantity of items
  • Date of next shipment
  • Delivery frequency
  • Put shipments on hold
  • Cancel a Subscription

Please note that any changes you make to your Subscription will affect all future shipments.

Note: Unfortunately, there is not a way to edit the name of your subscription at this time. If you would like to change the name, you will need to cancel the subscription and start a new one.

 

  1. How do I make changes to my standard subscription?

To make any modifications to your subscription, log in to your account and go to 'My Subscriptions' section of your dashboard. Then, click on the 'Manage' button next to your active Subscription(s).

If you want to make changes that will affect ONLY your next shipment, scroll to the bottom of your Subscription and click the 'Manage Shipment' button. If you want to make changes to your recurring order that will impact all future shipments, skip the step where you click 'Manage This Shipment'.

*Note that subscriptions must be updated at least 48 hours prior to the ship date.*

You can make the following changes to your subscription:

  • Shipping address
  • Shipping method (i.e. ground delivery vs. 2-Day Air)
  • Add or delete items to one shipment (to add an item, navigate to the product page from the main website, click "subscribe" and select "add once to my upcoming shipment")
  • Quantity of items
  • Shipment date
  • Cancel this shipment

Unfortunately there is not a way to edit the name of your subscription at this time. If you would like to change the name, you will need to cancel the subscription and start a new one.
